I really haven’t looked at the plugin in a long long time. There’s a modification of that I use for putting php on any WordPress page or post. So I no longer update or manage this plugin.

Been using the static jack plugin with no problem for 3 years and thought it was fantastic, until I suddenly got an internal server error on my website last week. After much investigation, my hosting company said it was from bad php code in the static jack plugin. The site is still in disarray and not working properly.

Has anyone else experienced a full site crash from the static jack plugin; if so, how were you able to resolve the issue? Thank you!

Hey Jack. I’m trying to set up your plugin for a library of html files on my site (wp 2.5), but I’ve having a problem with my sidebar…. I retrieve recent posts using wp_get_archives(‘type=postbypost&limit=10&format=custom’);

The problem is that the posts aren’t showing up. Is there any chance you can help with this?

Great to hear that the wonderful Static Jack plugin will receive an update, not that it really needs it. I use it for my contact page, and it’s always worked flawlessly for my basic needs. I was just adding it to the list of WordPress-2-compatible plugins in the codex and thought I’d see what you were up to on your site.
