Blog Relaunch with Focus on Tutorials and Tools

Today marks the relaunch of this blog, something I’ve been meaning to do for a while.

I’ve been toying around with exactly what the focus of this blog should be. Ideas I had:

  • Internet marketing
  • Search engine marketing
  • Programming tips, tricks, tools, and tutorials
  • Website tutorials, tools, etc.

Search around the internet and you’ll find no shortage of blogs about internet marketing and search engine optimization/marketing.

I’m going to resist the urge to turn this blog into “yet another internet marketing or search engine optimization blog”.

I’m sure I’ll touch on marketing techniques here and there, especially as it relates to the niches that I participate in.

Search engine optimization I’ll probably leave alone. There are so many good blogs out there on SEO and SEM that I’ll mostly point my subscribers to the posts that really stand out.

My plan with this site is to provide you with:

  • Insightful tutorials
  • Links to great articles and resources
  • Big discounts on my products any time I launch a new one
  • Access to tools I create

I know there are a ton of folks out there just getting off the ground with their websites, their entrepreneurial ideas, or they’re dipping their toes into the programming side of things.

I know a lot about PHP, AJAX, web design, CSS, and I like to think I can create a tutorial as good as anyone out there.

I also know how to make really good money as a freelance programmer and web designer, where to find clients, and how to generate lots of revenue in very little time.

So, that’s the plan.

Tutorials, tools, resources, limited time discounts on product launches, plus my own personal brain dump.

My goal is to provide five to ten times as much content as promotion. But yes, I do plan on plugging my products and stuff that I use that I find useful.

I gotta pay the bills too.

Let’s have fun.
