Post Affiliate Pro Tutorials

I’ve just updated a ton of new videos and resources for Post Affiliate Pro.

I’m finalizing the password protected section of my site and uploading the videos to my server. Over the past several months I’ve discovered even better ways to install Post Affiliate Pro to make it easier to attract your own affiliates.

Here’s a very small taste of what my clients get when they purchase Post Affiliate Pro through my affiliate link:

More videos will be coming soon. I’ll upload the short clips to YouTube and then post longer ones here.

Right now I offer

  • 20 online videos each about 6 minutes long
  • Custom PHP code as shown in the videos
  • Custom HTML templates I created (two of them)
  • Custom email templates for use with Post Affiliate Pro
  • Full PDF of my slide presentation seen in the videos
  • Discount off my video review of your website (optional, separate service costs extra)

It doesn’t cost anything extra…

Post Affiliate Pro Bonuses

Step 1: Click this link

Step 2: Buy Post Affiliate Pro

Step 3: Send me your information here and once I verify your order I’ll give you a login for all the good stuff

Please provide a simple link to view the tutorials! I’ve spent the last hour trying to find a portal, no luck! We have purchased PAP through you.

Thanks for your prompt response.

#2 Steve on 05.23.08 at 4:28 pm

I have a few questions about Post Affiliate Pro, and same applies for iDevAffiliate. Not sure who to go with yet.

Do they support subid tracking of affiliate links? If so, how many subid levels?

I would like to allow my affiliates to promote my products with pay per click and have the ability to track their keywords to conversions.

Also, will Google Checkout be added as a payment processor in the near future to either of these?

I’m hoping you know. I havent had much luck getting responses from either company.

Hello Jack,

I purchased PAP through your link on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 3:06 AM (PST) – Swreg Order Number: U27765158.

Can you please tell me when I can expect to receive instructions on viewing the tutorials?

Also, based on the comment by Bruce (above), “Please provide a simple link to view the tutorials! I’ve spent the last hour trying to find a portal, no luck!” I would also appreciate your help with a fast an easy way to access your materials.

I appreciate you putting them together for us and I look forward to learning from you.

Thank you!

#4 Jack on 05.29.08 at 11:24 am

I sent your login credentials yesterday and I’m just posting this reply so folks know that I got to it. The delay was that I was out of town for about a week.

Jack …

Purchased Post Affiliate Pro a few days ago. Found out about your tutorials 3 minutes ago. Sorry about that.

If your tutorials address my needs, is there a way I can pay you for the tutorials since I already have the software?

Briefly, here’s my situation …

I am a newbie. Even though the tech support at Post Affiliate Pro installed the software for me at my GoDaddy hosting site, I am unsure how to integrate the software with my products and services: three song cds, eBooks and 5 Minute Keynote Presentations.

Post Affiliate Pro offers to do the integration for me, not show me how, for a integration fee is $199.00.

Do any of you tutorials address how to integrate the software with products in a “newbie-friendly” manner? Please let me know. Thanks.

If your videos don’t address my situation, I would appreciate a recommendation. Again, thank you.

Tony Brigmon

#6 Jack on 07.17.08 at 8:38 am

You can purchase the videos for $39.

They are very thorough, but still require you to do the work (obviously). They are newbie friendly. They give you a screenshot view as if you were looking over my shoulder as I explain everything step by step.

I’ll get a link to you soon to order… just created a new shopping cart from scratch and got the SSL installed a few days ago.

So I’ll finish the code and put up the link for you.

FYI, in the videos I show you a very customized way to install PAP that is much better than the standard. I also give you code and html to perform the actions I show you.

For me to do the install for you, exactly as I show in the videos, is $350.

It sounds like you’re looking for the lowest cost option, but I wanted to give you your choices.

Thanks in advance for your order.

#7 Jack on 07.17.08 at 4:04 pm

I didn’t get that installed today, I’ll send you a PayPal link in case you don’t want to wait.

#8 Tony Brigmon on 07.17.08 at 11:04 pm

Sent the fee you requested in your email 5 hours ago via PayPal . Looking forward to the link to the videos.

Not afraid of the work part. Just needed help on how to proceed. If the videos turn out as expected I will do my best to send more business your way. Thanks. – Tony Brigmon

#9 Jack on 07.18.08 at 9:07 am

I just set up your account. When I get the SSL installed the setup will be automatic, but the way we did this, through PayPal, it had to be set up automatically by me and I was away from the computer all last night. That’s why there was a slight delay.

But you have your login info now.

Looking forward to your feedback.

#10 Salvador Posada on 07.18.08 at 4:26 pm

Hello again, Jack.

Thank you for your post replying to my concern (3rd. post from the top in this string). I understand that you were out on vacation and that’s why you had not sent me the download information to your tutorials.

I do believe that you sent it, but unfortunately I never saw that email. It may have gone to my junk mail folder without me realizing it.

Would you be so kind as to send it one more time? If it’s not too much trouble, you may use as a back up.

I hadn’t visited your blog and didn’t realize that you had posted a response to my request. That’s why I’m just writing to you again just now.

Thank you for your professionalism and I look forward to checking out the programs you’re working on.

Scratch that, Jack!

I was able to access your members’ area by resetting my password. I’m good to go!

Thank you, very much.

#12 Glenn Ray on 07.18.08 at 6:54 pm

Hi Jack, I am going to get Post affiliate Pro from you. I did however have a query as I am not that familiar with how it works. I give away a free version of my software and people come back to purchase it at a later date will ther person who referred their original contact still be recognised when they finally buy the software. Thanks, Glenn

#13 Jack on 07.19.08 at 1:37 pm

Yes, as a matter of fact that’s the same business model I use on one of my sites. You can set the cookie to last as long as you like.

Thanks in advance for the purchase.

#14 Aditya C S on 07.22.08 at 12:36 pm

On my way to purchase the PAP using your link, your tutorials and videos are exactly what I needed to go ahead and give me the confidence to add an affiliate program to my website.

Thanks in advance!

#15 Jack on 07.22.08 at 12:53 pm

Thanks in advance. Glad to have you on board.

You won’t be disappointed.

And there are some major developments in the pipeline. You’ll hear about it first because you’ll be on my client list.

#16 ACS on 07.27.08 at 5:09 am

Order Placed!

Thanks Jack,

#17 Tal on 09.14.08 at 5:11 am

Hi Jack,

I purchase PAP a couple of weeks ago. I have 24 languages on my site and some of my affiliates advertise my site in other languages than English. My question is how I can set the affiliate link to be not as the main url. Meaning if my main URL is but I would like that some of my affiliates link will go to this page
how can I do that?

#18 Jack on 09.16.08 at 10:16 am

In the admin section you can change the affiliate url to whatever you would like, and then you just need to make sure that your click tracking code is on the page where that affiliate url leads.

My Post Affiliate Pro video tutorials go through this in more detail.

#19 KU on 09.17.08 at 6:04 pm

Hi Jack,

I was about to by the PAP software via your link but had some questions:

1. Your blog hasn’t been updated for a while. Are you still active and do I get the bonuses if I sign up via your link?

2. Does PAP work with Romancart? Can’t seem to find the answer anywhere.

3. I am interested in the SEO aspects and have considered idevaffiliate… do your videos show how to change the aff. redirects to be more seo friendly for PAP?

#20 Jack on 09.18.08 at 9:27 am

@ KU
The comment above you is mine, from the day before. So yes, I’m still alive and kicking and yes, the videos are still available.

The real reason I haven’t blogged in a while is because I’ve been 100% consumed with launching

That’s a new project of mine. I’m reopening the doors today.

Romancart… I don’t think there’s a specific integration for that cart, but there’s a General Solution for integrating with any cart. So it will work. You just put the code on the thank you page and you’re all set.

Yes, the videos I have show you how to set up the click tracking code very differently for PAP, so that it 301 redirects to any page you want. You get custom php code I created and the videos to show you how. Plus there are directions in the php code itself.

#21 KU on 09.23.08 at 9:07 am

I just want to say a big big thank you to Jack for all his assistance.

After some hesitation between the iDevAffiliate and PostAffiliatePro offer, I decided on the latter and let me be clear about this:

Without Jacks free bonuses I would have struggled for hours… possibly days!

So my advice: Sign up for the PostffiliatePro offer through Jacks affiliate link. You’ve got nothing to lose, but even more to gain. I would have happily paid $39 if I hadn’t signed up via his link just to recieve the bonus material.

All I’ve got to do now is recruit some affiliates to this newly installed system and hopefully I can churn some cash…

l’ll be keeping an eye out on your other products.

#22 Kads Chowdhury on 10.19.08 at 10:15 am

hi Jack,

I just bought through your affiliate link. Was wondering when i could get my hands on the tutorials? I ordered yesterday, SWREG order number U29746868

#23 Jack on 10.19.08 at 2:53 pm

Just sent you your bonuses. Thanks.

#24 John Atherton on 10.22.08 at 7:16 am

Hi Jack,

I love your tutorial snippets I have seen for PAP, but unfortuantely, I already bought the software a few months back.

Could I pay for access to the full length videos? If so, please email me/post your PayPal address and the amount.

Thanks, JA

Here you go:

#26 Trey on 11.03.08 at 4:25 pm

We did buy the goodie pack (bernie@inputinventions) and everything in it is great.

We are still having trouble getting our site’s PAP back up after I moved it. We changed the settings.php, and three folders file permissions settings but are not sure of the rest of the permissions settings. We think that is where the problem is but are not sure. PAP support told us to change the three folders and we did. We told them that didn’t change and we couldn’t log into the merchant panel. We gave them access last week and haven’t heard from them since. Any suggestions ?

#27 Jack on 11.03.08 at 4:57 pm

When I run into a problem like this, regardless of who wrote the code, I start over in a new directory. All of your info is in the database, and your problem is probably file based.

Do a fresh install, and once you’re up and running, remove the database info and replace it with your backup.

#28 Mohd on 11.06.08 at 3:59 pm

PAP4 has been released, can you pls give us your opinion?

#29 Phillip on 11.15.08 at 5:28 pm

Hi Jack, just letting you know that I purchase PAP through your weblink, when would I be able to log in for the tutorials etc.

#30 Robert Scanlon on 11.16.08 at 6:14 am

Hi Jack – I bought through your link and I have to say the videos and the bonus file tweaks you supplied were absolutely worth it – in fact, had I known what they would save in aggro trying to find the solutions to the issues, I would have bought them stand-alone – nice work and thank you!

(Anyone else – don’t even think about it – do it.)

Of course, having now finished all my customizing / tweaking, I find myself with a free PAP4 upgrade on my hands – and I’m afraid to start implementing in case I write over too many of my (and your!) tweaks.

Will you be giving it the once-over soon?
Can you advise if all your pre-existing tweaks / files will work with PAP4, or will you be releasing new ones?

I’d be very happy to donate to support that …

Nice one again and thanks,

#31 Jack on 11.16.08 at 10:28 pm

Thanks for the enthusiastic and unsolicited endorsement of the videos, code, and bonuses for Post Affiliate Pro 3.

And yes… the folks that have bought access to the same stuff you got for ‘free’ were very happy.

(to all those reading… anyone that buys through my affiliate link gets the bonuses without any additional cost)

I am going to be doing a series of videos for PAP. I’d like to get them done by the end of this month if possible, but I have a TON of projects I’m trying to get through so I can’t promise that.

#32 Jack on 11.16.08 at 10:30 pm

You should have just received an email with access info.

I check the order numbers manually so sometimes there’s a 48 hour delay. This weekend I was running ragged with a close family member’s wedding. Been away for a few days. Sorry for the extra day’s delay.

#33 Bruce Lee on 11.18.08 at 12:38 am

JACK, are you selling PAP 4 yet? If so what is the link and do your tweaks work for VER 4?

I have MIVA 5.5 and cant find the THANK YOU page where the PAP code needs to be added.

What do you charge to install PAP? I installed the 3.0 version but prefer to have 4.0 installed by you

How does someone reach you – whats your email?

#34 Jack on 11.18.08 at 9:59 am

You can buy PAP4 through my affiliate link, yes.

Click here and you’ll go straight to PAP4

I really need to setup a page for services, fees, consultation, etc.

I have two prices for installation:
1) For anyone that’s bought through me: $350
2) For those that bought elsewhere: $550*

*These rates are for installs that do NOT include complex customizations. All of my clients know what I charge before work begins but I reserve the right to adjust the rates according to the degree of difficulty.

That’s the same rate you will see in the password protected bonuses section for buying through my link (thank you for your order!)

My installation charges reflect the fact that with my ongoing projects, product development, and marketing campaign roll outs I don’t really want to do installs…

But if you hire the best you only have to cry once.

re contacting me… I purposely make it difficult to reach me for the reasons I mentioned above. So that’s by design.

But every time you post a comment I get an email.

I’m considering a weekly call in day… maybe every Friday from 10am to noon. 10 minutes a person. First come first serve.

#35 BRUCE LEE on 11.18.08 at 6:40 pm

I am ready to purchase PAP 4.0 thru you and have you install it. Looking at your schedule – when would you be able to do the install and tweaks?

I am under pressure trying to get this online to correspond with my tv infomercial which is in production and going to air – help to have a timeframe so I can plan.

Thanks Jack

#36 Robert Scanlon on 11.25.08 at 6:23 am

Glad to hear there are more videos planned Jack!

For now I’m sticking with my PAP3 install, even though I have PAP4 as well. Happy to pay for some new videos for PAP4 when they are released … I’ll wait to upgrade then!

#37 Jack on 11.25.08 at 1:21 pm

I’m in the middle of an install for v.4 now. I will have something soon.

I’m also about to make a post about some of the hurdles I’ve already come across and how to address them.

#38 Robert Scanlon on 11.26.08 at 9:20 am

Thanks Jack,

I must admit it’s taken me a while to bash it into shape so far, using two cart systems simultaneously (Amember and Cs-Cart) but have been successful – the amount of tweaking I’ve done means I’m inclined to put off v.4 given that I’m in a full-blown launch. But I could always do some testing of my own on a parallel install if you’d like someone else testing … or finding hurdles. I seem to be good at that!

#39 nani on 11.26.08 at 12:06 pm

I wanted to know if PAP supports closed loop reporting also called postback reporting of the subids. This is done by almost all the incentive affiliate networks. Just wanted to know how much you would charge, if I wanted you to set that up ?

#40 Jack on 11.26.08 at 12:11 pm

Can you give me a better idea of what you mean? An example? Because I’m not sure I understand your question.

#41 Robert Orange on 12.18.08 at 2:59 pm

Jack, I’ve read all these comments and responses, but still don’t yet agree with your decision to be unavailable to respond to questions. I previousyl bought PAP 3.0 and now have the PAP 4.0 upgrade to be installed (one issue), and I have been participating in your marketing of InstantAffiliateTools also, which I am very interested in (second issue), but I have not discovered anything about the pricing that service. Could you share this information with me? At present I have a login and password and I am trying to determine if I should continue the trial access, but I need to know the pricing.

Great products and idea, many thanks.

I hope to hear from you directly.

#42 Jack on 12.19.08 at 9:48 am

I’m not sure why you think I “decided” to be “unavailable to respond to questions”.

I’ll contact you directly about the Instant Affiliate Tools product.

I’m running a Christmas special.

#43 Jeremy Fisher on 01.03.09 at 5:54 pm

Hi Jack
Just participating in your InstantAffiliateTools product on the free trial, but, like Robert in the comment above, can’t find any details on price once the trial is over. Can you email me details too?
Been watching your videos on iDev and really like your style.

#44 Damian on 01.26.09 at 12:59 pm

Hi Jack,

Hope you can help. I use Post Affiliate Pro but can’t work out how to intergrate it with Paypal. I use Paypal Buttons but these link to the Paypal site which takes payments for me. I don’t know if I am supposed to use the code they provide and add it to the buttons or activate the Paypal plugin that comes with the program.

I’m just starting out with the whole website thing so would really appreciate your advice on this…..

Thank you,

#45 Jack on 01.27.09 at 2:15 am

It depends on whether you are using PAX or the full PAP4 version. If the former, then I think you have to buy an addon. Otherwise, you use the code generated in the integration section of the admin panel.

#46 Damian on 01.28.09 at 10:18 am

Thanks Jack,

I use the $49 version just to see if it will be good enough first of all. The Paypal plugin is included, but should I use this and activiate it or add the generated code in the intergration area to each button or both? I’m confused.

#47 Robert Orange on 01.29.09 at 5:00 pm

I still haven’t heard directly from you.
You responded above to my comments:
“#42 Jack on 12.19.08 at 9:48 am Robert,
I’m not sure why you think I “decided” to be “unavailable to respond to questions”.

I’ll contact you directly about the Instant Affiliate Tools product.

I’m running a Christmas special.”

But, so far I still don’t know the pricing of your product:

Hope to hear soon, thanks.

I have already bought Post Affiliate Pro before seeing your website. Is it possible to purchase the training seperately?

#49 Richard on 11.02.10 at 11:57 pm

Hello Jack

is there a way I can speak with you. I would like to purchase your ‘bonus’ videos. i purchased post affiliate pro a while ago but could really do with your help. Please let me know the best way to go oabout purchasing this material

#50 Jack on 11.03.10 at 10:07 am

I sent you an email.

#51 Richard on 11.15.10 at 1:26 pm

Jack, received your email, sent a reply, not heard from you…desperately need your help i.e. I need to purchase your videos … from what I can see you are the only authority on this ‘niche’ market outside of quality unit.. I have a deadline and am ready to purchase your videos..

#52 David on 12.15.10 at 5:27 am

Hi Jack, as most of the people that have contacted you I have acquired Post Affiliate Network directly. I would like to know if those bonuses are only for PAP (one merchant version) or also for PAN?
Can you send me a little resume or content list of what I can get. Because I have installed PAN without problems and have changed a lot of things therefore I do not want to pay for something that I already know how to do. I hope you understand.

Hope to hear from you soon.

#53 Jack on 12.15.10 at 10:13 am

Short answer: I don’t have any bonuses or information on the Post Affiliate Network.
